Iranian filmfest to be held in Oman

The Iranian Film Festival has been slated to be held at the capital city of Oman, Muscat.

The event, to be held in collaboration between Oman Film & Theater Society and the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Muscat, will screen five Iranian movies.

The selected films to go on screen at the fest are ‘Maritime Silk Road’ directed by Mohammad Bozorgnia, ‘Gold and Copper’ by Homayoun Asadian, Mahshid Afsharzadeh’s ‘5-Star’, Reza Mirkarimi’s ‘So Close, So Far’, and ‘A Cradle for Mother’ directed by Panahbarkhoda Rezaee.

The Iranian Film Festival is set to launch on March 08 at the building for Oman Film & Theater Society. It will come to an end on March 09.
